5. Hercule Poirot’s Christmas by Agatha Christie- A great Hercule Poirot Myster book! I m a fan of his skills, so for thosewho don’t know him, He is an Agatha Christie’s universe of books’s famous belgian detective. With a neat moustache and very clever brain, he solves it all. So back to this book—A rich man—Simeon Lee, who wants to change his will suddenly, calls his children and their wives to his huge mansion. He is not loved by them and they have their own reasons. 6. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott- A beloved classic that is quite close to my heat. Little women , as it’s name suggests is a women centric book that depicts the hardships of 19th- century women in America. Based on lives of “four” sisters, Meg, Beth, Jo and Amy, it traces their life through thick and thin, putting emphasis on togetherness. This book has some normal daily events that bring readers to a calm natural life and also the simplicity of the girls is plausible to read. The struggles of war and women’s potential is rendered elegantly.

And now my favourite recommendation this year-

8. Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal by Meghan Quinn- Another story by her from the Kringle town(after How My Neighbour Stole Christmas). This one is a enemy to lover’s trope that will definitely make you engaged along with a tint of witty humour by her, I absolutely love her work this time. I kept laughing every now and then(but mind you, it is not a subtle one, it is chaotic humour). This is a light hearted read, definitely good for Christmas eve!
