Reading, Feeling, and Making Sense of Books – As a Student
Being a student often feels like living between two worlds—textbooks and novels. And at times, juggling both can feel exhausting. On some days after an overwhelming session of lectures, reading anything becomes a task, while on some you find an escape in them. For a long time, I have wanted to get consistent with blogging because I find myself revisiting those pages in my mind while I write.
I was initially quite skeptical about participating. Blogchatter A2Z feels like a small push I needed—an extra inch towards recounting the stories and emotions that stay with me long after I read them. My goal won't be to just finish it like a task on my to-do list but, as a journey that symbolises moving forward with strength and resilience.
So as a student who has to give hours into reading text of history, polity, economics and what not, I want to share my perspective and recommendations that help me navigate through these phases of exhaustion and hesitation.
These 26 posts feels quite personal to me as it reflects my inner struggles of prioritising things, feeling drained d still trying to project my self. In many ways, I find it similar to the flowers that will bloom this April, after the long winters and enter into the spring of their life.
Excited to follow the journey through #BlogchatterA2Z2026. This post is a part of Blogchatter A2Z Challenge 2026.
